Reading these words, I reflected that this is exactly what the world
requires at the moment.
Love, gentleness and understanding.
We are reflections of each other.
Yet many times we can not get past our
appearance, our sex, our age or ethnicity.
We reflect our fear which has mostly been born from ignorance.
From the false belief that one is better than the other.
That one is right and the other is wrong.
From a knowing that we all have parts within us that scare us.
Now is the time for the love that is inside us all to take priority in our life.
For us to move beyond the fear and seek to understand.
Ourselves and others.
All others no matter what judgment you have made based on their outer appearance.
The small flame starts from within. It’s a desire to live in a fair and peaceful world that is for the many, not just a few.
As Wayne suggested, from there the small flame will grow within your circle of friends, eventually igniting within your community, state, country and then the world.
It may sound idealistic. Though only if you are not ready to do your small part.
Are you ready to pour love into all your thoughts, words and actions?
If so, what is the first thing you will STOP doing?
